1. General Information

This privacy policy informs you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data on our website and within our digital offerings, in particular the Augmented Reality app.

We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations of Switzerland (revDSG) and – where applicable – the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data collection on our website

a) Visiting the website

When you visit our website, our hosting provider Shopify automatically collects the following data:

  • IP address (possibly anonymized)

  • Date and time of access

  • Browser type and version

  • operating system

  • Referrer URL

This data is technically necessary to display the website and to ensure its stability and security (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

3. Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses cookies. We distinguish between:

  • Technically necessary cookies
    For the basic functions of the website (e.g. shopping cart, login)

  • Personalization cookies
    To adapt the website and content to your usage

  • Marketing cookies
    For personalized advertising, e.g. via Facebook or Google Ads

  • Analytics cookies

4. Data processing in the online shop (Shopify)

When you shop in our online store, we collect the data necessary for processing the contract:

  • First and Last Name

  • Billing and delivery address

  • E-mail address

  • Order data

  • Payment information (via Payrexx – encrypted)

Data processing is carried out via Shopify (Shopify Inc., Canada). Canada has an adequate level of data protection according to the EU Commission.

5. Payment processing (Payrexx)

Payment processing is handled by Payrexx AG , Burgstrasse 18, 3600 Thun, Switzerland. We do not store any payment data ourselves – this is processed exclusively by Payrexx in encrypted form.

6. Customer account

You can optionally create a customer account. Your contact details and previous orders will be stored there. You can delete the account or change the stored data at any time.

7. Newsletter (Mailchimp)

We use Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC, USA) to send our newsletter. Your email address will be transferred to and stored by Mailchimp.

By subscribing, you agree to the processing of your data by Mailchimp. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the newsletter.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Mailchimp, including EU standard contractual clauses.

8. AR App (iOS)

Our free augmented reality app for iOS complements the physical models with digital information.

Data collected:

  • Device information (e.g., model, iOS version)

  • Usage behavior (anonymized)

  • Location data (only with explicit consent)

No registration required.

Data is used solely to improve the app. No personal profiling takes place.

9. Participation in prize draws

When you participate in a competition, we collect your contact details solely for the purpose of conducting and processing the competition. Your data will not be shared with third parties.

Your data will be deleted after the competition has ended, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it.

10. Social Plugins

Our website uses social plugins from the following providers:

  • Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram)

  • WhatsApp (share function)

When you visit a page with a plugin, a connection to the respective network may be established. Data may be transmitted in the process (e.g., IP address, time of visit).

Note: If you do not want the networks to collect data about you, log out of your social network before visiting our website.

11. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Correction or deletion

  • Restriction of processing

  • Objection to processing (e.g. for direct marketing)

Our website is secured with SSL/TLS encryption. Your data is processed exclusively on servers protected by appropriate technical and organizational measures.

13. Storage period

We only store personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes or as required by law (e.g., 10 years for tax-related retention obligations).

14. Third-country transfers

When personal data is transferred to countries outside of Switzerland or the EEA (e.g., the USA for Mailchimp or Google), this only happens if suitable safeguards are in place, such as EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy as needed, for example, due to new technologies or legal requirements. The current version on our website applies.
