FAQ – frequently asked questions

How does the app work best?

In order for the augmented reality app to locate the content, it needs the shadows and contrasts on the respective subject.

We recommend the following:

  • Illumination from the north – i.e. from above when the model is hanging on the wall
  • no too diffuse or uniform lighting

Can I test the AR app without a model?

Yes, of course, just use the image targets on our “App” page click here

  1. Download the app “Atelier Momol” for free from the App Store
  2. Select “Image Target” in the app
  3. Scan one of the image targets with the app

What content can I explore in the app?

Currently it is mountains, bodies of water & cities – depending on the section also cantons, hike & dine tips, districts & individual buildings.

We are constantly developing the app, so stay tuned for what’s coming next!

Do you have to clean the models often?

  • The models are not as sensitive as you might think. If some dust has accumulated, we recommend cleaning the models with a dry microfiber cloth

What do I do if the model is damaged during shipping?

  • So far no model has been complained about (touch wood at this point)
  • We pack the models as safely and carefully as possible
  • If something is damaged despite corner and edge protection, please let us know immediately.
  • We will check the case and send you a replacement or refund the costs

The desired product is currently not available?

  • Our models are carefully handcrafted, which may lead to delivery difficulties. If the model you want is not available, please contact us at info@atelier-momol.ch . We will then be happy to give you information about possible next delivery dates.

I have an idea for a cutout, can you make it?

  • We are constantly expanding our range and motifs. If you have an idea for a motif, please feel free to contact us.
